So I posted something similar before but in the wrong part of the forum, maybe I can get some more opinions here.
I would like to keep stakes low with multiple buy-ins if people feel like gambling. So the max buy-in would be $20 ranging from $5-$20.

My breakdown looks like this:

100x 10ct
300x 50ct
100x $2,5 (because I'm weird and I like $2,5 chips)
100x $10 (porbably too many but thats what I currently have and the chips are beautiful)

Blinds would be 10ct/20ct: Buy in < $20 or 20/50: Buy-in > $20 for larger buy ins

What do you guys think?

Im not an expert but definitely would work, for a $20 buy in gives you 100 BB which is enough, what kind of $10’s do you have?

I will relable HSI 1a's as 10ct, HSI snappers as 50ct, Jack Detroit $25 secondaries as $2,5 and Good luck club 50's as $10 chips.

Once I'm finished I will post a pr0n thread with pictures.

I would go with 200 10c

Your game sounds similar to a 25c/50c game I run ($30-60buyin) and believe me having two racks of the frac is going to save a lot of change making on the table. It will also get lots of chips on the table which is fun. Seems to me you will probably not need more than 2 barrels of $10 too, but if you already got them I guess no big deal having more.

I'd suggest
200 - 10c
300 - 50c
160 - 2.50
40 - 10

What is your break down for each player? I just started to build...well I haven't started but looking...for my cash game set.

So I play with 25c, $1, $5 and usually have $30-60 buyins...

so for the .25/1/5 breakdown:

12/12/x for the first buy in to get a lot of fracs on the table

and then subsequently
8/8/x or 4/9/x for rebuys depending on how many people I had sit initially and how many chips I've got left. We usually end up with all 200 fracs on the table by end of night and are re-buying with $5s and $1s only. I recently picked up a 3rd rack of fracs so I may up the # of chips here soon hehe

Certainly not traditional, but I like it, and if you think it'll work for your group, why not?
I've seen stranger things, our neighborhood game is similar stakes, with a .25, .50, $1, $2, $5. Drives me nuts, but I like playing poker.

If it were me, I'd be thinking .10,.50, $1, $5 and maybe a barrel of $20's for mid game buy-ins.

My first game set is $1/$2/$5/$10/$25/$50/$100 100/100/40/40/20/5/5 for 4-6 person set.

Never even realize that it not that useful to have $1 & $2 and $5 & $10 chips together at all.
