What is the best way to clean older chips that have adhesive labels? I'm not sure how to do this without ruining my chips.

Electric toothbrush with a little dawn in warm water. Maybe get a dental pic to get out any grime in the cracks. What chips are you cleaning?

Paper or vinyl/plastic labels?

Per the above poster with the toothbrush and soapy water is likely your best bet. If the labels are paper you may need to replace them or just buy new chips. It is a balance between your time/effort and the cost of the chips whether they are worth cleaning.

Paulsons, CPCs and ceramics are nice because they are easier to clean than the cheaper chips with applied labels.
