Ridiculous packing job to boot. That chip was safe from all manner of NBC warfare.Nice chip in the lower left corner (y)
Cry Havoc is legit, yo. Islebound is a nice Ryan Laukat joint, but that was a prize I won in a charity raffle.Ahh gaming…another hobby I have neglected over the last couple of years. These looks pretty cool…oh, and nice chips .
I must check out boardgamegeek now...
I'm something of a filthy casual. My wife and I play casually, and I'll play some Commander. I'll also play in any Grand Prix in the Phx metro or Las Vegas areas. When I was heavy in the TCG scene I was much more prominent as a top-level judge than a player, and did some development and playtesting as well (not for Wizards, though).Do you Magic also?

I'm much more of a board gamer than a Magic player, favoring the Ameritrash games more than the Euro style. There's only so much "farming in the Mediterranean" I can take.
Do you Magic also? That was my hobby before my current two hobbies: poker + chips
Oh, mechanically they're amazing...Agricola, Caverna, La Granja, Vinhos...most all those Euro games are solid plays. I just can't get past the theme. I give precisely zero shits about farming or pigs or grapes. Now if you told me I was harvesting space diamonds from a remote asteroid under attack from the Imperial Forces of Gorlac, or I was siphoning magical energy from a crystal to keep the orcs at bay, or something along those lines, then I'd have the collectors editions of all of them. But agrarian themes? Pass. You're crazy. Agricola is a great game.
