Unfortunately, these are not available in Europe.

Hi Janek, Wikommen bei PCF!

Have you contacted BR Pro Poker or ABC Gifts and Awards to ask if they will ship to Germany? They do international orders, but specific Germany, not sure.

http://abcgiftsandawards.com/shipping-returns/

Else, best is to watch on eBay, facebook marketplace, and the classifieds here on the forums. When you make a few more posts, then you can make "wanted to buy" ad here.

Getting the chips we like for cheap - not always so easy, also in US. :)

Viel Glück bei der Suche!

I can probably have the chips delivered to Germany.

But with taxes, it costs a fortune.

That's why I'm looking for someone who sells privately.
Then it's easy to keep taxes low.

Hi wuehler!
I'm also in the same boat - would love to buy some set of Tiki's in EU, but with no luck so far :(

Is it cost effective for one of us to order it then send it to you? Or do you have to declare customs for poker chips, etc.

I'm not sure about how your import taxes are assessed, but we do offer shipping to Germany and most EU countries through Brpropoker.com where we sell the Tiki Kings chips.

Thanks,
Gene

Import taxes are a killer! Here in the UK we pay 20% on top of the combined value of the chips plus
shipping

The problem is insurance on any lost item wil obviously only cover the value stipulated on the package.. I first bought brand new Nevada Jacks skulls from the States but these worked out at least as expensive and Paulson chips from this wonderful forum so thats the last time I buy new stock design chips.. better off placing a wanted add for used Tikis in my opinion.

If this were possible and I didn't have to pay taxes, it would be worth it.

Hi Invenis,

I don't want tikis anymore.

Yesterday i got my first Clay Chips.

First I tested the Madi Gras Chips. Feeling very comfortable and nice Sound. Better than my ceramics.

But then I tested the Paulson Pharaohs. The difference is clearly noticeable. Beautiful chips.

Now i need more Paulson Pharaoh.... What is the maximum price for the Paulson Chips? One seller sells 300 pieces for 600€.

Yeah, Paulson's are entirely different league I guess - I'm afraid to even buy samples because I'm scared that they will set my expectations too high for my next set
They look nice! Where have You found them? eBay? EU prices will be at this level I think, but I haven't done research on Paulson's....yet ;)

For now I am thinking about Tiki's, just ordered sample set from BRPro, will see. If You don't mind me asking, which ceramics do You own?

I was a China clay guy until I touched my first Paulsons ... what a huge financial mistake that was!

With that said, you should touch some Paulsons ...

Thats what I'm afraid of
Maybe buying some ceramics would leave room for improvement for later
Here in Europe we do not have many retailers having good quality chips unfortunately...and the taxes and import fees...for a set of 300 we are looking at $80-$90 shipping (which is understandable) and You have to add a 20-25% of VAT and imports. Summing that up it brings the price to Paulsons level even if You buying ceramics...

What saves me some money, especially when ordering from eBay, is having them sent to one of those companies that have a US address and who then send items on to you. The one I use is Myus.com, but there are plenty of others (viabox, shipito, borderlinx and MANY others, so look around). Some offer you the option to combine multiple orders, and as such saving you a LOT on shipping costs, especially if you have relatively many smaller orders.
Of course, it's still not free, and then there's still those nasty taxes you need to pay when the goods enter Europe, but at least shipping become a bit more affordable.

Other than that, with a bit of looking, you can find some decent suppliers in the UK as well. Go make the most of them now that they're still part of the EU I say...

That a interesting hint for small orders! Thanks!
Regarding UK based suppliers - could You recommend some?
I’ve been searching for some, but found only few selling cheep, plastic chips :(

Samples arrived, very nice chips - I will probably order a set :sneaky:
In the meantime I was looking for some alternatives available in the EU, saw a review done by @Hobbyphilic and pulled a trigger on a Juego Pro Embossed set (http://www.itaexpress.it/juego-pro-embossed-300.html) - will see how they feel when shipment arrive :)

I'm based in the UK and have been looking at getting this exact set, but when I click your link it seems I need to register and when you register you have to have an Italian company to proceed... may I ask how you got your set from here?

It was a link to manufacturer website ;)
I actually purchased by another online store: http://www.pokernolimit.it/fiches_real_clay.asp
Edit: You have to send them an e-mail (english worked) with your order and shipment details and then they will send You a link to PayPal payment, because their site won’t allow non-Italian addresses.
Mine order is in transit - should arrive tommorow

The shipment arrived today, so I can surely recommend the seller. Regarding the chips themselves - they are nice (for the price) but nowhere close to the Tikis unfortunately. There are some quality control issues like about 2-3% of the chips are clearly smaller in diameter than the rest (about 2mm). It seems like they were mixed in from another batch or something. Weighting (in lots of 10pcs) showed results of 88-93g. I am curious about the material they are made of - is there any clay in them or it is just the marketing and they are made from same plastic as Dice chips. Someone more experienced than I could bring more light into this I hope.
All in all - pretty nice chips for the price I payed for. Definitely better than cheep plastic ones like dice chips for example.
