Hi all! I've always wanted to create a custom tribute set myself, and make it a bit personal to my background.
I was back in Hong Kong over the holidays, and I had the chance to play golf at the only public golf course in the city. (Feel free to look up this place: Kau Sai Chau)
It was a type of golf course (seaside) that I personally almost never get to play in the UK. It's on an island that was specifically purposed for golfing. It has 3 different 18-hole courses and almost every hole has a beautiful view of the ocean. You can look out and see these little islands littered across the horizon. It's honestly stunning and I wanted the set to remind me of that.
The idea was to create a backstory of a country club that was set along the seaside. The name of White Rock Bay is directly translated from the area I live in.
I created a quick vector graphic of a typical view of a golf hole on that course and just played around with the fonts (a classy one!) and here we have it:
Overall design wise I had some ideas of mine, but I've always wanted a Paulson tribute set referencing some of the nicest sets I've come across on this forum. I did that by referencing some typical colour schemes.
