You know, those super flexy cartamundis? The same stock as the Neder Poker decks?

I thought. those Tobago decks were all the same color. I know somebody told me that, and I’d never seen or heard of a second color. Well look what arrived today. I bought this deck (the deck in the middle) on eBay from a seller in Latvia. I didn’t even realize it was a different color when I bought them. But it seems to be. I guess there’s only one way to find out for sure, but I hate opening sealed decks. I wish somebody could tell me what I have here. Are they the same glorious stock? Do they actually have a different color back? Because if the answers are yes, I’m thrilled and I want more!!

Seems like they would be the same stock.

This seller have any more?

I'm waiting to hear back from him. But it seemed like it might have been the last deck he had - he had it listed for $20 for a while. I made him offers over a period of months and the best I could get it for was $15.50 (plus shipping) which is a lot for a single deck, so I'm not sure that I WANT him to have any more. Haha

Actually, upon closer examination (and you can see it if you look closely at my picture,) this deck pretty clearly has a different finish. It looks like more of a linen finish, as opposed to the darker backs, which have that “pebbly” finish.

Hmm, I'm curious as to whether that's a paper deck in that case

Blegh, I knew it as soon as you mentioned that the finish was different. Hard to tell from photos :(

I found Cartamundi casino cards a few weeks ago. They seemed to be of the same stock as the Neder and Tobago.

The offer on the Romanian site mentioned that they were 100 plastic, made in Belgium by Cartamundi. The site only delivers to Romania and talking around me, I learned that the brother of a work colleague was there.

I wanted to order lots of decks but I remembered this post.

So, I ordered a single deck to see what it was. Like.. $25 for paper. How sad @Thomacetti
