Not Mine Who needs a GB when you have these??? (2 Viewers)

I often wonder with things like this if the seller knows what they are selling and that it's a rip off on purpose or have picked it up cheap somewhere and think they got lucky/ overpaid themselves and are trying to get their money back. Alas I think it is the former

This is the complaint of quite a few members here about replicas of real casino chips. Especially live chips.

When you say replicas, you mean illegal copies? Yes, market confusion is one of the reasons I object to these chips.
But china’s gonna China, so I dunno

Edited to add, I don't really have a problem with anybody who makes these chips for home use. Personally, I break plenty of laws. I just try keep that sort of stuff on the downlow. But sometimes these illegal or quasi-legal activities are broadcast and even celebrated here.

I mean, it keeps me in touch with wonderful old friends from 30 years ago, who would otherwise be gone and forgotten. So that’s nice.

The friends I have from that far back I speak pretty regularly with on the phone. ;) Or I MAKE the time to go and visit when I can.

Call me old school, I’d much rather hear my friends voice, shake their hands or hug them in person.
I was 29 years old before I ever had a cell phone, mid 30s before I even realized what FB was. I’ve made it this far in life so far. ;) :cool
Wouldn’t you rather sip good bourbon and smoke a fine Cuban in person? Or just read about what you missed out on on your screen?

Been playing cards with my friend Bill here for more than 20 years. He’s an independent owner operator from from back east but when he’s coming through my neck of the woods here in West TX, he’s made the time to stop on by for a bit.

PCF is pretty cool and I’ve met and made many new friends with similar interests because of it. Being a member on a couple poker and chip related sites has been very much a mostly positive experience for sure.
I here people tell me they have over a hundred friends on FB and I think to myself, how many of them could you call and ask for help from if you were in a dire situation?
The one or two of them that would actually help are FRIENDS, the rest are just acquaintances IMO.
The older I get, the more I realize how much of a commodity time really is. I want to hear my friends laugh, see them smile and spend as much quality time with them as I possibly can. Your TRUE friends will feel the same about you. ;)
 
He said the guys name was Enrique. Who knows if that's true or he knows exactly what he's doing.

i sent him a message. he said he got ripped off and hes pissed. i suppose that is possible, but unlikely based on his other messages. said hes going to list them cheaper.

I know, I'm just jerkin around with ya. I know OF you, and don't know you in person, but there are hundreds of members on this site who are buying .10 and .30 cent chips that I wouldn't have ever seen their username in my life. So the point being with as many Aria cards mold GBs there have been, who is vetting anyone? Only the people who have run the GBs would have names and city/states.
