They are a tribute set to the set of chips that was used on the poker TV show "Poker Superstars" played at the Palms.

Whom ever owns them was definitely on Chiptalk. They have the table topper to prove it. Don't know if they made it over to here though.

I've never seen those chips before.

I've previously seen them, but cannot for the life of me remember who had them made. Maybe one of the HoF committee members (past and present) ran across them during their recent nomination hunts....

Ah, found it -- username JT-Bird from New York (last CT post in May 2012), chips were produced by ASM and delivered in August 2006.
