What has made Non-Casino Starburst Chips so damm High $$'s when trying to buy them ????

Last few times I tried to get some off eBay, they went for $1.25 up each by the rack.

There are some now, that I'll bet go for more than $100 per rack.

I just consider that High, as a year ago you could get some for 50c each.

The market for all Paulsons has been a little ridiculous since they got out of the home market. Give it another year or so and I think things will be back to "normal".

1. genuine Paulson chips.
2. heavyweight leaded genuine Paulson chips.
2. typically mint condition heavyweight leaded genuine Paulson chips (or usually at least very good condition).
3. market buyers are nuts for ^^ these days. I don't think we are even close to topping out before (or if) prices drop back down. I hope I'm wrong.

You can still find bargains on Paulson chips, but they are hard to find, and typically found in less-desirable condition.

Besides what @BGinGA said, they go really well as fracs with most Paulson sets. Since casino fracs are both hard to come by and expensive, these are a nice, generic, and largely re-sellable option that's much more affordable and available than the alternative.

This. TR King completely out, BCC completely out, Paulson out of home market, ASM/CPC custom sets on the expensive side, too (especially with some of the more interesting edgespot patterns). Also (and sadly), there seem to be no more giant Paulson casino sets from the Chiproom. Remember those glorious Aztar and Bahamia days ...

Paulsons seem to be slowly "drying up" over time ...
I notice a big reduction in what is being offered on eBay from just a year ago ... & if you eliminate the 1 to 10pc auctions, even less ..

The colors man , the colors!

I know a few chippers that have a big collection of Starbursts. I have around 1500 and it is a thing of beauty to behold all the magnificent colors in racks of mint Paulson chips.

Your Right, now that you identified the reason being the colors...
