WW - Never underestimate the Degen of the group of chip nerds here. I've seen them talk about chip weights for hours. He was genuinely asking the questions to see your prospective. I'm the only one that's constantly sarcastic. Your journey normally takes years and years to go thru, so the dynamic of "the long road" opinions vs "the short road" opinions would be interesting to some.

Is the set done? I'm sad to see only 4 $500s, although I know how few and expensive those are. Was hoping that somehow, just maybe, we'd see a barrel or somehow magically a whole rack together.

I don't have TRKs but this is my jam. Dig the colors, and this has to have the best backstory to any casino/chips outside of 1 or 2 (I like these more than Binion's, not old enough to appreciate those anyways).

Nope, not done. I’ve tracked down a few barrels for sure, and may actually have access now to a couple of racks.

Follow up real question. My original question was going to be, is it more time and energy or money that's shaking so many of these loose, but I felt that was maybe too crass.

Instead, I go with this: How much time and energy would you say you're currently spending on chipping? Do you have any fear of reaching "the end" too quick? (meaning, there's always treasure to hunt with first editions and such, a lot of people won't sell based purely on principle or the fact that things are much more one of a kind, but chips, it's pretty simple to find and buy even the rarest of chips)

Some truly amazing sets here, man I can't wait to see what you've amassed in another couple months.
