I just don't understand giant inlays. Whenever I'm playing live and I get a chip with a giant inlay, I literally pull it from my stack and can't wait to toss it in. It tilts me that much.
Olivia inlays aren't my favs either, but 10x better than the outpost..
as BGinGA succinctly put it in reference to the below mess of a splashed pot photo..
Giant inlays on 50mm chips don't really count as having the "giant inlay problem" though. You can see the full edge spots on them. They'd look way worse if they had regular inlays.
I'm not a fan of the artwork on these, but the waterfall inlay is a hell of a lot better than those NYC tourist photos, or that nasty sewer water reservoir that haunts the Grand Vic inlays. I'd say my biggest issue with these chips is the grammar lol. But seeing them in stacks and handling them in person quickly forgives even the greatest of inlay sins.
Yes, to each his own... the water fall image isn't better, it's just bigger (aka worse )
Whether you like them (me) or not (you), at least there is design thought and execution with the PNYs.. the Winner Club, not so much
Yay... (y)
