Wondering where I can get more of these Chips (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm new to the Poker Chip forum (holy awesome) and new to chip appreciation. I recently got a present who bought these chips from craigslist. I wanted to purchase more, just so I can actually run a 9 person game. But I can't seem to find anything like this. Any insight from more knowledgeable folks would be great.

Thanks! I'm getting lost in all the forums. I've been playing poker a long time but haven't had an appreciation for poker chips.

Those were my first set. I thought they were cool until they started breaking and leaving little shards of chip all over the table. I think the highest denomination is 100 as well, which made it a bad set for tournaments.

Good luck finding them, but don't be afraid to upgrade too.

Hi sikwan, I think we all started with chips that were these equivalents but have upgraded as we progressed thru the stages of disease...ahem, I mean hobby. Make sure you are really ready to jump in the rabbit hole ...hold on to your wallet and enjoy the journey.

Where are you in California? There are a few of us in San Jose area that meet up for games and trade/talk chips.

I'm in southern cali, Los Angeles. In all my years playing I'm only beginning to have poker "friends" that I talk poker with.

I think maybe a good investment in home chips may make me more poker friends.
