I’ve been looking for a 60 inch table topper because I can easily buy a 60 inch folding table. I found this Matt is meant for a fire pit, but do you think the material would work as a topper? I’m just not sure about the material.

Any description of the surface texture? I feel like as something designed to have something heavy and hot on top, it might be grippy and not allow cards to glide across?

It says it has heat resistant silicone on each side. That won't let cards slide. It's a no go.

I had a custom dining room table pad made for my folding round table and it worked amazingly for years. I flipped it upside down and used the felt part as the playing surface. The only downside was lack of a rail. You can buy them from furniture companies.

I agree with you but figured it could be a temp solution.

Only other thought which I think you might be getting to (or trying to avoid) is making an actual top for it out of thin plywood or something. Maybe two pieces to cut down on weight/size.

You can also get roll up mats from Amazon. I have one of those too. They kinda suck compared to the nice PCF mats @Tommy made. Maybe one day he’ll do a 60 inch circle pcf mat?

So I bought this huge sheet of neoprene. It’s 5” wide and 120” long. It’s only 3mm and has a green side and blue side. I think I can glue or stitch two 59” circles together to make it thicker. But it feels pretty nice for topper
