If I'm not mistaken, these are non-hybrid Sunfly chips (similar to the Ravenor line). I think they're as close as it gets to their requirements.

I wish I had the $1100 Cdn to get these, but I'm saving up for a table upgrade. I wonder if @RagahRagah would be interested in them...

I was. I definitely need chips with a 5 denomination on them, though. I asked if there were any and I didn't get a response, and they aren't pictured so I assumed not.

Not smooth, shiny, slick, or heavy enough. o_O

I don't understand your need to take shots at me over me over my preferences, especially when you never answered me on specifics to why these traits are bad/undesirable. I don't have a problem with being educated on something, but these comments are empty and not necessary.

Your are correct. 5s are not available. I'm assuming because these are replicas and there wasn't a 5 in the wsop event.

Yeah. I figured that. I would assume some sets could be made that way, but obviously not the case here. I'm new to the world of poker chip customization and I really don't know how to go about getting samples of some of these types of chips, much less getting my own set done this way. If anyone can steer me in the right direction I'd be appreciative.

I have some of these chips, and can vouch that they are great. Good colors, perfectly aligned edge spots, an actual mold to give the ceramic face some texture, and they shuffle well, and stack well (they are not slippery like some ceramics). If I didn't already have some of these plus three full tournament sets, I'd be all over this sale.

I play with a group that has been together for about 10 years. I have been around for about 2 of those. They have used landmark casino dice chips the whole time.
Last week I finally talked them into letting me bring one of my sets. The chips for sale in this thread are the chips I brought. Needless to say they went nuts over them, I mean totally crazy. From now on I have been assigned with bringing the chips.
The colors, the feel and especially just feeling for a time like you were playing with the real thing made these chips a blast to play with.
Congrats to whoever snatches these up. You won't regret it.

See the smiley face?

Others answered your questions.

Relax. You've been here what, ten days? This isn't Mommy Babb's Nursing School. It's more like the old TV show, "Tough Crowd".

Guys.

It's my birthday in October. If y'all want to club together and buy these as a present for me, I'll even pay half the shipping*

*where costs are reasonable.

Just sayin'

Being a mature, sensible adult doesn't require being at a nursing school. I don't go along with that nonsense, sorry.

Well, if you're gonna hang out here, a slightly-toughened up skin will help ease the ride. Lots of good-natured poking going on. Probably more if they think it bothers you. :sneaky:

That said, there was a lot of truth in my post above. Based on what you've said so far about your preferences and likes, there is no way I would recommend the chips in the OP to you for purchase. I seriously think you would be disappointed in them, which is not a judgement but rather an acknowledgement of those preferences.

So does anyone want to buy my chippies?

I can see you're pretty embarrassed that no one wants your chips. Tell you what I'll do; I'll take 'em off your hands for $40 Inc shipping, if you throw in some racks.

And maybe a set of those Poker dice.

Hello...?

It's cool. Like I said, I'm warming up to the ceramics as I'm breaking them in. I'm very eager to try out the sun fly hybrids.
