I was hesitant about the size but after an orbit they felt great!

You could just ask to buy some of those 36mm buy in chips Jim was selling, if you just want a feel for the smaller chips. Same chips, different inlay. You could probably get a barrel of those from somebody a lot easier than part of somebody's tournament set.
