Hmm, good point. I was going on the fact that all WSOP tournament chips in the wild are basically stolen property. Flaunting a stolen chip at the place it was stolen from doesn't seem too smart... as you say, it's not the same place anymore, but is it still the same organization? I wouldn't risk it.

And OK, an outright ban is probably extreme worst-case, but I wouldn't be completely surprised about some stern looks or talkings-to by a pit boss or confiscation or something. It might be an argument you could win, but better just not to have the argument in the first place.
