Not Mine WSOP Table (1 Viewer)

Haha nice. Love the Annette Obrestrad pics on that table! Not many people know about her, but she's one of the best players I've ever played with.

I've just been re-watching the 2010 WSOP ME which I think it was her first one since the European win.

She made a couple million online prior to those events. When she was 16, she even won a 180 player MTT without ever looking at her cards! So sick. One of the greatest feats in poker history. She recorded it to prove it of course.

They're pretty impressive records.

When I'm on PokerStars I usually feel most play without looking at their cards with some of the decisions I've seen.

I always feel a little dubious about this. Kinda like, I wonder how many she did where she lost? I feel she must have been very very very fortunate. She never came up against someone who had the nuts, or someone who thought they had, or someone who overestimated their hands, or someone who was on tilt and was ready to go all in on a bad hand.

Still, winnings, like cards, speak for themselves.

I actually asked her about that. She said she played "A LOT" of tourneys trying to do it. She didn't know how many exactly but I think her words were "at least twenty" with vocal inflections that implied probably many more than that. She did say that she made several final tables in the process, but that after it got down to 3 handed, it became pretty tough to win.

very cool table.

I sat directly to her left (thank god) at a 1500 event last year and got to talk to her for several hours. she was very cool and seemed very down to earth.

Her endorsement of Lock cost everyone who trusted her at her word money...

Then online poker hating Sheldon Adelson rewards her treachery with money

Anyone thinking an online gambling site is "safe" because someone paid a pro to endorse it probably has bigger problems in this world :)

I wouldn't hold that against her.

She was Lock "Pro" who knew the site was not able to pay players but keep saying that people will get money she was paid the players missed out

Sheldon Adelson (Casino owner) lobbied the American government to ban online poker and it happened

Annette Obrestrad is now working for Sheldon Adelson
