For anyone looking for high denom WTHC:

My point is eBay encourages sniping and last minute bidding, and discourages an actual auction where people bid, think about what others have bid, and bid some more. All to the detriment of sellers. And I hate that about the platform.
I've always wondered the same thing! But I was told once that they were "world" chips because they did not have a currency symbol on them, unlike the Paulson Classics (which have dollar signs), and thus they could be used for the "world" and not just the US.I'll never understand why the World Top Hat and Cane chips aren't on a top hat and cane mold.
Or why they're called World Top Hat and Cane when "world" appears nowhere on the inlay.

Boy if eBay made the 5 minute rule an option it would change everything.
eBay redirects this link with one of those bullshit "that one is sold, why don't you bid on this one instead", but if you go to the original listing, this one was $30 with a minute left. I bid $150 (pie in the sky, but I tried).
