Wunderkammer:
Cabinets of curiosities (German: Kunstkammer and Kunstkabinett), also known as wonder-rooms (German: Wunderkammer), were encyclopedic collections of objects whose categorical boundaries were, in Renaissance Europe, yet to be defined. Although more rudimentary collections had preceded them, the classic cabinets of curiosities emerged in the sixteenth century. The term cabinet originally described a room rather than a piece of furniture. Modern terminology would categorize the objects included as belonging to natural history (sometimes faked), geology, ethnography, archaeology, religious or historical relics, works of art (including cabinet paintings), and antiquities.
So happy and excited to have completed the Wunderkammer, it perfectly merges, and aptly describes our household, and game. At the risk of using too many words, and running on, the below is a background on how it came to be; in hopes that maybe a chipper among us can be swayed to create their own in the future.
As my PCF story goes I arrived here, looking for help in deciding between Monte Carlo sluggos, and Milano's to upgrade our game. Brushed aside the advice to log out and never come back, but did take the get samples advice to heart. Dove into the sample sampling, classifieds review, and learning process, but while going about that, I did place an order for a @T_Chan custom table Topper. Unbenkownst at the time the Wunderkammer was born.
See I did not have total buy in, or consent from Wifey for the rather large for our household (But absolutely worth every dime) purchase price of the Topper. She has always collected eclectic "stuff" as I call it, or as she sees them, treasures. In short order she informed me that her collection would be expanding, in both investment, and footprint in the house. An increase in Amazon deliveries started arriving, FB Marketplace pick ups / drop offs, eBay Auctions, many more flea market, and antique shops were scoured. The china cabinet, located directly behind her seat at the poker table was soon converted, and many other displays throughout our house were installed. You can find skeletons, and bones, medical packaging, and instruments, uranium glass, antiques, rosaries etc. Years on now, her collection on occasion finds an upgrade, and continues to have pieces refined, which draws perfect symmetry to my own chip journey ... Dice to Sunfly to RHC to THC to ...
Some label element background:
A number of thanks to go around, but starting with the label design itself. Thank you @mattross1313 you were so easy to work with, you were attentive, and listened as we worked through the versions. I'd recommend to anyone. In the same breath @Gear for your awesome quality labels, and quick shipping.
Thanks to @MilouPilou1 (ES $1 / AS $5) and @Hotus777 (ES Frac) for working through the purchase with me, and delaying potential sales to let me scratch it together. As well as @Hunt247 (Tiger NCV) for splitting off the perfect high denom chip.
The Wunderkammer went Live last night! And a few pics of some of the items in the Cabinet, the mirror kind of makes them difficult to take.

Some label element background:
- Wunderkammer - As above German for "Chamber" or "Room" of curiosity. I am a German immigrant, so wanted a tie back there. Poker certainly has moments that create curiosity, it couldn't have lined up better. It's super fun to say, and rolls off the tongue!
- Skeleton Key - Was one of the earlier purchases Wifey made, and very common to find in antiquity collections.
- Crow - Trickster, intelligent, and has cultural significance to Wifey's Indig heritage. She had also tried to adopt a local baby one a couple years ago that was in our front yard for a few days, although I won the debate there.
- Haus Hees - That's our us and our location, and happy to round off the label with the Est. date.
- Red Denoms - Flirted with color matching, but was way too busy, and the Blaze doesn't have a "perfect" match. Wanted some contrast to the black on white.
- Textured and Aligned Labels - Just adds a little extra to the feel, and look to have them centred off.
