Y'all see this Wyrmwood poker chip cabinet? (1 Viewer)

It's a cool cabinet, but these guys have failed to nail down the demographic. It's targeted toward the higher-end poker player, but the cabinet is for single decks of paper cards?
I think too much effort was spent on making a great cabinet, but too little research into what the person spending that kind of money really wants inside.
You dont make the cabinet first, then try and figure out all the other stuff later.

Agreed. It felt like a poker cabinet that was made out of an idea, but not for Poker players who play regularly. It's a conversation piece, not something we would need to help store our chips and be used on a regular basis.

The cards and the chips wouldn't do much. The case doesn't hold enough for any of my sets. It's beautiful woodwork, but yeah. Ooph.

Lil late on the degen focus groups. And degens love spending money.

I appreciate the woodworking but let's be honest here, for real poker

These guys do most of their woodworking for DND and board game tables. I thought it was pretty and liked the idea of having it on the wall if you don't need it portable. Mostly just thought folks here would get a kick out of seeing it even if it is not practical for us. (I'm much happier with my apache case)

They ALMOST had something, but its trashbuckets. I agree they are off on the demographic as well.

I'd take something from our own TChan or Alec personally but it does give me 2 ideas.

The shape of the cabinet is kinda nice, but imagine if the doors were glass, and it was deeper with no room for cards. They also have a film that is clear, but reduces UV by like 80%, yeah!

2nd idea, Card Storage :wtf:

We do and its a great post, thanks for sharing!

What do you think of their poker chips? For $.25 each, would they be a waste? Would have to buy a lot to get the right mix of denoms since they only come in a set 50 each quantity.

When non poker Players/ non-chippers Try to put together a chip breakout. It always turns out like this. The denominations are wonky. Just my opinion
