My favorite hands down is Green!
But Red is fun too! Just because it pisses off the old "traditional colors" folks!
As far as playable chips... I don't like White because they get filthy quick... when it's your workhorse it only takes a few sessions and you have to clean them again.

Either is good, but white does get dirtier faster. It also depends on your inlay art and the colours within, as well as edge spots.

To be fair I didn't post that many pictures.
When building my rat rod set, I couldn't decide... so I did both and play with one or the other when it is felted.
I came in here ready to say blue %1000 but this is definitely the true answer. Both!
They're definitely more difficult to piece together but for $1s, it's Yellow of course!!
