I am new to the site. I just moved from Chicago to the burbs (Naperville area). Interested in seeing other's collections. I am hoping to hit the magic number for private messaging. Thanks in advance everyone!

Welcome!

To hit the magic number you need to find reasons to post more.

What games do you play? Stakes? Pictures of your table?

I prefer NLHE. $1/2 or $1/3 up to $2/5 depending on the casino. I prefer a splashy table w/o too many nits.

Welcome to the forum!
See a lot in the Poker Chip DataBase and other pictorial sub-forums.
Read also a lot before you spend.

You sound like a poker player, but this forum could turn you into a chips enthusiast as well, at the expense of your wallet / bankroll.

I am both! Thanks for the advice!

Thank you! I am semi-retired myself and loving it!
Well, I'll tell you, I honestly never thought I would retire. I loved every job I ever had and planned to die coding at my computer forcing someone to pry my cold dead fingers from the keyboard. But, once I sat down and looked at the numbers and saw I didn't need to do it anymore, it became very hard to go in each day. And now I don't know how I ever had time to work, my days are full doing everything I love to do. I can't recommend retirement enough so glad to hear you are also loving it.

Semi-retirement has been considerably busier ( in a good way) than I ever could have imagined. It is a joy having the time to do things at my own pace.
