I am hoping that one of the positives that comes from all of this is better pictures in the classified. The buyer is going to want to see the molds when they zoom in. It should be clear. In some sales, they aren't. There is definitely a difference between sales adds from experienced chippers and Newbie Johnny-Flip-its.

I doubt a change like that is going to come from this thread. Some sellers are just too lazy to take good pics. And in my experience, it's more likely to be the old timers, not the n00bs. Not necessarily the active members here, but those that have been in the hobby a long time, even if they aren't a big part of the community. They just figure anything Paulson, CPC, BCC or TRK that they post will be known to the other experienced chippers, so they post small, blurry pics and they don't care if newer members can't tell what they are selling.

Uh oh. I had read somewhere here the exact opposite. My chips are no mold. I hope spinners will be at a minimum. I do realize the price point is lowwww so I can live with some spinners. I always wondered about CM spinners anyway: don't the centers have a slight recess? It seems that would result in fewer spinners as the center of the chip would be lower than the edges, reducing the "spinning top" effect. ??

This. I don't own many no molds, but it just seems logical that no mold would be more likely, not less likely to have spinners. Unless great care is taken in procuring the blanks so that they are slightly concave. I don't expect that from 30-40 cent "Tina" chips. I probably would expect that from $0.75-1.00 BR Pro Poker chips.

While full customs are $2/chip. I am curious as to how much costs have increased on custom poker chips over the last few years since COVID. I have to imagine full customs price jumps are pretty recent.

My experience with Textured No Mold is that it is about the same as Card Mold regarding spinner/slipperiness issues.

There is very few spinner before any usage But The slipperiness spinner increased more as you had more session with them.

I'm not saying they're not. I'm confident that when I get my group buy chips, I will say they too are worth every penny. I've seen posts from very happy new chip owners who love their "Tina" chips.
More to the point I was making, the Chinese mfg. are filling a gap in the market for fully custom LOW cost chips.

This is surprising not because of excluding newer members. (I get it, you're probably not going to buy Tiger Palace if you don't already know what they are.)
