Just received my small add-on to my DJ set.

Now my DJ set stand at 1000 chips strong with 4th rack of $5 and 2nd rack of $25.

Thanks

Can someone help me with some Trop/Gemaco questions? I'm considering them for a relabel set.
  • How dirty are these chips, generally? And can they be cleaned in Ultrasonic? How about Oxyclean?
  • How easy to remove existing labels?
  • @Tommy's thread indicates 30mm inlay area capable of laminated sticker. Right?
  • @TheChipRoom the primaries from the 2022 Black Friday sale are the same? so I could add more $1s or $5s if I want?
Thanks!

They are the same chips as 2022 Black Friday Sale. Additional chips are available in the 2022 Black Friday sale thread.

Thanks - how dirty are these sets generally?

Anyone have any other photos of them?
There was a big thread right after last year's sale. Chips themselves are in pretty good shape and not horribly dirty, but roughly half the $1s and $5s have damaged labels. I bought a bunch of them with the original plan of relabeling the snappers as quarters and the $500s as $20s, keeping them as Tropicanas. But honestly, with so many requiring relabeling, going with a whole new theme might well be a better idea.

I'll look for that thread later when I have a bit more time, if you can't find it.

This would be a help!

Let me know if you're successful, looking to do the same eventually. Those are beautiful chips.
Hugely unsuccessful with the harvest. After walking around flamingo casino in circles for 25 minutes looking for their poker room and then realizing it’s not longer open, I opted to go elsewhere and play. more successful with poker.

I’ll never buy standard index, but just for science - what cards would you compare these to? Flexy or stiff, finish, etc?
I just got the card and I would say they are less stiff than faded spades and more stiff than Desjgn. The finish is smooth but easy to grip. I never had a problem with standard index but I do prefer poker size.

Depending on how many decks bought with shipping the prices would have been

1 deck cost $17
2 decks cost $25 = $12.50ea
4 decks cost $41 = $10.25ea
6 decks cost $57 = $9.50ea
8 decks cost $73 = $9.15ea
10 decks cost $89 = $8.90ea

give or take a few pennies lol
