I'm surprised to see chips still for sale. If I remember correctly durring the the last sale I precipitated in (the Indiana grand sale)all the chips sold out within the hour and some, seconds. I wasn't able to score a set. I wonder what is different with this sale. Obviously the roulette were popular.

Bearclaws.

Any thoughts on why the $1 DJs are priced higher than the $5 DJs? I thought higher denom, higher price.
Probably to do with the quantities available. Usually more $5 chips than $1's in a casino

Yes. Exactly. It has to do with the "rarity" of the chip, not just the denominations.

5s are the most abundant quantities in almost all USA casinos. And probably for casinos that use Euros too.
Then, it could either be 25s or 1s in second place by number of chips, depending on the casino (is it a more "higher roller" place, or a place "for the locals," etc.).

prob alot more chips in this batch

I went back through the original sale announcement and found these two photos which appear to be casino used, versus the new chips that were offered for sale today. Maybe there are more solids??? IDK

Those are really nice looking 5’s. Just saying.......
I honestly expected a bunch of people would just grab the maximum 1,000 $5s right off the jump today. Or right after they tried for their solids. It’s a fair price and although I’ve never been a huge fan of that spot pattern, it’s far better than a lot of fives we see. I look forward to seeing them in person.

I got lucky and scored some roulettes. Can’t wait to see them. Had my son at the wheel with his bad ass gaming tower and ultra fast connection. I just hope he got some of what I wanted. He just sent a note that said got some. No other specifics. He loves playing games with me.
