2) Chipco / PGI Yak / GOCC (I could swear these are the same blank...)

I suspect that they all use the same mold, or at least identical mold dimensions. The original Yaks were Chipco-produced, the initial PGI-produced custom Yaks were made on old Chipco blanks, and GOCC essentially copied the Chipco blank dimensionally.

I have sent a PM to GOCC asking for a set quote... We will see what I get back :)

Early PGI-produced Yaks are identical to the Chipco ones. Later ones (post-September 2013) are thicker. The early ones are 3.29mm on average, and the later ones are 3.38mm on average. I know this because I have custom Yaks from both time periods. I believe the blanks changed slightly in that time period.

Edit: Just reviewed my emails (it's been a while...), and I was told that it's possible that some older blanks were inadvertantly used. I didn't pursue it further since the chips are usable in stacks of 10. If I ever sell them, I'll advise the purchaser. But I have no plans on selling them anytime soon.

Here's stacks of 25. Stacks of 10 are close enough that I'm fine with them.

From Left to right...
Pink 25c (From July 2013)
Yellow 5c (From November 2013)
Blue $1 (From September 2013)
Red $5 (Chipco made)

In any event, the PGI "Chipco" blanks now in use for the PCF and Deja Vu chips seem more "rounded" on the edge than any of my Yaks.

I promised some pics, so...

1) The chips in question.

From left to right
PGI-made Yaks
Chipco Yaks (if you look close, you should see a small CI near the upper right of the logo. It's not on the PGI chips.)
PGI Chipco
(I know the PCF ones are. I think the Deja Vu chips on the bottom of the stack are also the PGI Chipco blanks, but I don't know for sure.)
GOCC
Venerati
Sunfly
Sunfly Lucid Diamond
Unique Poker Chips (ABC)

2) Side shot with flash to give you an idea of the glossiness of the edges.

3) Close up of the PGI "Yak", Chipco, GOCC, and PGI "Chipco" edges. Maybe it's just me, but there's more of a bevel on the PGI Chipcos.

PGI Chipco are far right.

4) Height comparison

PGI Yak, Chipco, GOCC. 20 chip stacks

I really love the wall color you have there.

Sorry had an HGTV moment...

Those nine dragons get me all hot and bothered. Who came up with that? What's the story?

What was that? I looked but saw no posting on his pages.

He posted about updating the PGI Web site, and mentioned that they were dropping some chip products. And while the B-Tourneys appear in one set of scrolling images, there's no content for them as a product at the moment.

There's some low denom Yaks for sale in the classifieds. Never had the chips in hand but look pretty cool.

Yak

Sorry read this, I would like to have another rack $5000 this chips for some regular gamblers of my club on the best buy of all times, and host near of 4000 Paulson

Long shot here, but after fiddling with the SunFly chips and the SidePot chips I can really tell you that I love the feel of the SidePot chips a lot more.

Does anyone know what blanks they use or are they proprietary?

I can tell you that the Venerati chips are not Chipco. The edges are more square and glossy than Chipco chips. But if you like the look and feel of the chips, that's all that really matters. If you like them, buy them.

Problem is I can't get a 5c chip which is really what I want... I would have to pay the custom price and not the .39 price on it. If I'm going to pay .75 I have more options....

I put a wanted ad out for nine dragons to see if anyone has any they want to part with :)

If someone is willing to sell them you might get them cheaper but I'd be willing to bet GOCC would be willing to make you a new set as well.
