For real. There were some bigger punts in this stream last night than there were in the WFT/Giants game last night.
Thr young vloggers let Reza get into their head, when in reality, players like Reza are easy to play against. Easy doesn't guarantee good results, but the book on these LAG types is to nit it up when out of position, play premiums only when they're in, and punish them for value once those hands come along. Reza was trying his best to donate chips back and Patrick finally got him on a big pot.
Against weaker, nittier players, it's OK to raise 5/6 suited in late position, but even the LAG iest players are going to be ahead if they call you out of position. Both Rampage and Mariano did that several times and they ended up not winning a single one of those hands.
I'd argue that the $6K punt by Mariano with Ace high was worse than Rampage's all in shove with his King Queen. At least there, I could see what Rampage was trying to do. He was trying to represent Aces, Kings or pocket Queens but Nick ended up making a very difficult call with top/top two pair. Mariano punt calling a 6K bet from Reza with Ace high on a board where the club flush gets there on an otherwise pretty connected board? Yikes.
