RIP Doyle Brunson (2 Viewers)

The trail blazer, what / where would poker be without him?

RIP -- met him 2 months ago and took this photo at the Horseshoe in LV .. Super Systems was the first poker book I read

So sad to see him go, recently saw a stream with him and wish I had the opportunity to play one hand with this legend, may he rest in paradise!

Ah, that's really sad news. He really was one of a kind, a true legend.

I feel like we got a lot of good, extra bonus years out of Doyle. I'm grateful for that.
And I'm so sad that he's gone.
It reminds me of a line of poetry written after we lost Babe Ruth:

The Big Guy’s left us with the night to face
And there is no one who can take his place.

Sad to hear this. I’m grateful to Doyle for playing a big part in making poker what it is today. He led a storied life to be sure and stayed relevant for an incredibly long time.

His books are all excellent reads too.

RIP.

Tonight for our weekly game the 7/2 payout prop will be a 10/2 payout prop.
