Straight Flush
Hey guys,
As a few of you probably saw, I was working on a tribute set of Cali Rounders chips because I like Cali colors, but I've ultimately decided that the better decision for me is to go with the real set of Rounders, and to just mock up my own customs for the denoms that weren't in the movie. Like @ChaosRock, I'll be using the blue with white $1s, and some of my own flavors for the frac and the higher denom chips. I've also completely stolen his sniper rifle concept for the bounty chip (with his permission of course - hence I titled this as "Rainman style - sorta"), but I tried to give it my own twist by going night vision mode on the bounty chip. I'm going to be putting in a rather large order of these on Valentine's Day (my wife doesn't know she's buying these for me for Valentine's Day with my money yet - she's gonna be so excited when she finds out!). So if anyone missed out on the Rounders CSQ group buy, now is your chance to place your order with me, and I'll add it on to my order. I spoke with @David Spragg about placing an order on the CSQ and he quoted me 4-5 months, which means these should come just in time for my graduation! Woohoo.
I know that there is likely to be many that aren't a fan of my frac since it's breaks up the flow of an otherwise L2 set by starting things off at L7, but I just really like the concept of fractional chips being... fractional. Plus, I'm using it as a sort of wild card chip, hence it reads 'KGB' instead of 25c. I'll be using it as a 25c chip in smaller NL cash games, as well as 50c ante chips for when we play mixed games (which are my favorite games to play). It can also be used as a 10k or 25k chip in larger tournaments if necessary, and can even function as a 'host bounty chip' for fun tourneys with friends.
If anyone wants sample sets, or if you miscalculated your chip counts on your pending Rounders orders, let me know and I can add on. I reserve the right to not accept large orders if that will delay production, although I'll consider it on a case by case basis.
