Sand's $100 "A Place in the Sun" Poker Chip (1 Viewer)

Can anyone give me an idea what the Sand's $100 Las Vegas Casino Chip, "A Place in the Sun" would be worth? I know there are only 17 out there and was made in 1962.

There are singles collectors here and some knowledge, but there is more of both of those elsewhere.

The one problem with this chip is that there is at least a full rack of 100 more of them found now. Still rare, but not quite as much as before.

There are some price guides that mention the number of known chips. You might see a phrase like "5 known, 3 canceled", which is the author's knowledge at the time of publication. The most recent price guide I have, which contains information like that, is about 15 years old.

Nice chip. Last year's Chip Rack (2022 price guide for Nevada chips), shows it as a Z1 value or $800-$1099, though the larger quantities found will lower that price quite a bit. I still think the chip is in high demand, so my guess would be around $100-200. Good luck!
