2023 was the year we unveiled the first set of Tiger Palace chips, and this year we are moving to the 'Final Chapter': The full 89 chip (plus DB) Tiger Palace Collection...In the next few days John and I will post pictures of the new sets/chips. In total, ten sets were produced in two separate orders for Tiger Palace Casino in 2022. Four of these sets were part of the initial sales in 2023: Hot Stamp Tournament set consisting of 10 chips; Primary and Secondary Cash sets, each with 12 denominations, and an 8-chip 'set' of 4TSA18, aka 'bear claws', with an NCVs inlay. A special 48mm Dealer Button rounded out the offering (all 42 chips + DB were also offered as a sample set).
Four more sets will be offered for sale in 2024: VIP Cash set #1 and #2, each consisting of 8 chips; an all-43mm Secondary Tournament set (10 chips) that includes a very limited number of T5s, one of very few 43mm red chips available in the marketplace, and an all 48mm 'Fat Hat' Buy-in set that consists of 6 chips form 100BI-25,000BI.
Additionally a Hot Stamp cash set and a limited quantity Tri-moon set were produced. Lastly, there are several chips that were added in the end t: a 4V418 Orchid $500, 2 x $25,000 and 2x $100,000 chips, as well as a replacement for the original T500 chip in the 43mm set. Some of these chips/sets have not been made available for public sale and are either part of private collections or will be made available for trade only. Detailed information about all the chips can be found in the Tiger Palace FAQ thread...pictures will be posted/updated shortly.
There will be two new sales threads in the Market Place Vendor section of the forum. Sample set sales will begin on Friday April 5th, and similar to last year's sales, it will remain open until Sunday April 7th, 2024. All samples will ship the following week. Full set sales will being on Friday April 19th, 2024. Pictures, set breakdowns, and prices will be posted in the next few days.
