Good point. How do I shove here?
If someone sells chips later on that they bought, it's a group buy since more than two people got together to buy the chips, just over a long period of time.
I know who he is referring to. I am questioning his statement.
Anything is possible for people willing to put the work in. Just ask the BTP or Boat group buy organizers.
SB was not the first and wont be the last and I am willing to bet on it.

I'm not so sure we are actually in disagreement. I'll concede that to an outsider -- or somebody looking at the individual definitions of each word -- that group buy could be applied. But in the context of what a Group Buy is on PCF -- it's misleading to use the term for something that does not actually qualify as being a Group Buy on the forum.I have to say Dave that I understand your point of view now much better than I did before, so thank you for that. Your definition is much more limited than mine and incorporates some common practices on PCF as limitations on the term. I don’t view public and open participation in a group buy in a thread as being a requirement for something to actually be a group buy. I think we can just agree to disagree on this one.

Don't look at those that were able to pull off the coup and badmouth them, their tactics, or their methods. It should be a no-brainer, but maybe it needs to be said. Never kick your hero in the nuts.
