Little late but that 1000 is legit one of the best chips I've seen. Fantastic designs on all of them really.
If I wasn't all in on the Empress Stars that 620 set is pretty tempting... Such a disgustingly clean stack.

I don't know, what do you like for starting stacks? With a T10,000 there is still plenty leftover for rebuys for a single table. But yes, you should always buy more chips.

Yea I should have clarified. I am a big Manzoni believer lol. Been doing that for about a year now and we've never had better poker.
Everything except we do the 12/12/5/6/2 breakdown (I believe he preferred the 8/8/6/6/2) . That breakdown lends itself perfectly to the 400pc set with the benefit of covering the nice little chip bonuses for on time and correct change.
That's why I think an extra barrel of the 5ks would be ideal with that breakdown and set up. Maybe even two for a deeper 30K start.

I'm a complete @Chris Manzoni convert. Base T25/T20K stack works better than anything I've used before. Even for the 6 table charity thing I do once a year (to be fair, that one tends to work run a little long, but it's lots of newbies and drunks).
Both sets work for their intended target (400 = 1 table, 620 = 2 table) though they are tight and the numbers slightly deviate from Chris's recommended Bank, but these are highly tricky sets to get made I'd hazard. There is the option, at the moment, to add on an extra barrel of T500, T1000, or T5000.

My only quibble with the FD tourney set is the FD cash $20, $25, or Bounty chip would've made a perfect T20K/T25K chip. But that's me.
