I put mine where they can collect dirt: the garage at the bottom of the stairs to the house, and the basement (unfinished and usually dusty) at the bottom of the stairs. This one is to put near the door for visitors' wet shoes. At this price, I can hose the rugs off in the driveway when they need it. If water wrecks them, I have no problem throwing them in the trash.

I am not a shill for the seller.
