Hi all PCFers. I'm starting this thread for people to post WSOP related posts and pr0n of their 2016 WSOP experiences.

Feel free to post chip stacks, bad beat stories, tournament updates, harvest pr0n, group shots of PCF folks hanging in sin city...whatever related to WSOP in the next six weeks.

Hope everyone going has some run good in them!

Well, I'm off to Vegas tomorrow night after work. Looking forward to see @ChaosRock while I'm there. Have a Spinetti's run planned for Friday. This year was supposed to be my first bracelet event entry, but since the only event I can make is Colossus, I'm likely entering a Venetian deep stack event instead. The Colossus structure is too much of a crap shoot. I plan on harvesting some while I'm there, playing lots of cash games, and getting into various amounts of trouble at the RIO in side games. Stay Tuned!

Paulo sent me this as he got started with some cash game action in the new Wynn room last night:

As for me, I got stuck in this:

Apparently Payless = wait more. 90 minutes at almost midnight. Who knew?

Hopefully @ChaosRock destroys the field today. Cheering him on.

Landed in Vegas around 8pm, checked in and went directly to the Rio for registrations... It took me all of 5 seconds compared to 3-hour long lines from last year... They are improving for sure...

Played 1/3 and 2/5 at the brand new poker room at the Encore... The room is super nice and well run... Tables were tough... Almost regs only playing 2/5...

Was having a good night at 1/3 and up about $600 when I lost my whole stack when I flopped top set and turned top boat... First villain flopped top and bottom... And second villain got his quads with the same turn card which gave me the top boat... $3k pot pushed away from me :-(

Battled back a bit after a few other coolers and had a -$300 night...

The are running what seems to be an awesome 4/8 mixed game table here... By far the liveliest table on the floor... I think that's what I'm playing after coming back from the Rio today...

Thanks for the wishes @bivey !

Side:

One of my buddies opened a gash on his forehead the size of Grand Canyon... He needed paramedics and the whole nine...

They were warming up before going to the club and he was jumping on the bed... Fell and hit his head on the night stand... No, he's not 7...

He spent a couple of hours at the hospital and went directly to the club...

I read that as "opened a gash on his forehead at the Grand Canyon". My very first thought was WTF are you doing at the Grand Canyon when they're so much poker to be played :)

Take it down guys. Wish I was out there with you.

We have a rule with my buddies that if someone has a big night at the casino, they buy us all breakfast.

In that same spirit - and since I'm quick to spend other folks' money - if a PCF'er takes down colossus, they're buying us all commemorative tournament chip sets.

If I make it top 20, I'm down for it...

Do they still only have the two poker tables in the middle of the floor there? Or do they now have a dedicated poker area?

It's still in the middle of the floor, but I am pretty sure there were more than two tables. Harvesting there isn't super easy, you can only buy $1 chips at the table. However, you cash them out away from the poker table, so it's easy enough to just walked out with them. Playing 2/4 limit there while breathing in thick smoke was the hardest part of getting this sharp edged barrel.

I'm going to have to try that Wynn mixed game.

Silver sevens only has two tables in amongst the craps and blackjack tables. I went up to the cage and asked for two racks at 11 am. Dirty but crisp. I'll gladly clean them for he 10 minutes it took me to say thank you and talk to two bored craps (dealers). I just chucked them in my bag and walked.

Wow, totally different experience than I had. Granted, I went at the worst possible time (around 8pm on Friday and 80% of the huge line at the cashier was to cash their paychecks, no exaggeration). They wouldn't sell me a single $1 chip, and she didn't look to be in a negotiating mood.

Glad it worked out better for you than it did for me (y)

Those chips look great Bert!!

$1 a chip for crisp three color spot Paulsons is a DEAL!!!
