Sorry if this has been discussed before, but what mold are they using for the 39mm 2016 wsop ME chips? I know for previous years they have used the RHC. I've paused my tv a few times they showed the chips up close, but was unable to see a rim mold design. Are they using the 'smooth mold' for the 39mm chips and the larger denoms?

I'm pretty sure the ME chips are RHC. There are some older posts/threads about this on the forum. If I remember correctly @Tommy made a thread full of pictures of them a while back.

Per BG in the Todd Brunson thread, the new yellow chip appears to be a 50-mm no mold chip in canary yellow with day green and black spots.

39mm non-holdem and holdem are RHC.

Here is the there I think you were talking about.

Looks like Canary Yellow with Indian Blue and Black.

Thank you Tommy for the good info on the yellow chip. Apologies if I misspoke or misrepresented anything.

Thank you Tommy for the good info on the yellow chip.

I was just taking a guess based on that screenshot. Nice looking chip no matter what the official colors are.

All of the Main Event chips are 39m RHC mold except for the top two denominations -- 500K and the new 1M chips are 50mm no-mold.

The secondary set (typcially non-Hold'em events, but not always) is also primarily 39mm RHC mold with two top denomination exceptions -- the newest 100K and 250K chips are 43m IHC mold.

What are the 50mm molds? Fat H&C and smooth?

No hats/canes. Called the crest & seal mold.
