Seller said these were a home game line from 20+ years ago. Probably will never find those 5 chips to make full racks.

I believe they are from a CA card room. There should be more out there but it might take a while.

Nice pick up. I have a set of the Poker Palace chips somewhere in my closet. They are from a closed cali card room. I think i have around 400, can't remember which denoms.

Who paid 360$ for these? Deep pockets. I didn't know chips like these would go for such a steep price. Can someone explain this phenomenon to a rookie like me? Are they some kind of special that I can't recognize?

Surprising. They went from 150ish earlier today to 190sh with an hour to go then...... 360$. Difficult to figure out what's gonna spike that high..

I (almost) never place a bid on an item until the last 3-5 seconds. So for an item like this, the price leading up the end of the auction really doesn't give you a good indication of what the final price will be.
