Go back and do it again, this time spiraling ALL of the chips.

Because those .50 like that look freaking amazing.

I had the same sentiment when I first saw them but the higher seem to have their own classic type of appeal. Granted, lower denoms have more of a pop and wow factor to them. That’s why this set grew on me so much it has a nice blend of in your face colors and then the upper half is more catered towards that old school pastel look.

Me personally, nothing beats that $5. It’s radiant and the color actually looks different when looking at it using different angle or lighting.

The 5k is actually a CDM 200 that my friend and I thought was a perfect fit for a 5k. Have a barrel of spotted showboat gray that are being turned into the 25k to top the set off. Should be golden after that.

I left it at the 0.50 because I noticed it looked the best on that chip. I did a rack of 1’s and wasn’t as awesome looking. Thinking maybe the 5 would look good spiraled? Or give it one more go and just spiral entire thing?

I'm generally not a fan of red chips, but this isn't really red. And I agree it's the best chip in the set, followed by the blue $1.

I wondered if the 5k chip was a CDM200. I have one and it looked like that. Excellent choice. The 25k gray will also be amazing. Congrats on an epic chip set.

Gotta love man. I wasn't big fan at first but they just have a simple and refined look to them. I've said it before and I'll say it again, comparing Jacks, ES, AS, BTP, to CDI's and the like just isn't apples to apples. You're taking a 2020 Brabus Mercedes and saying its more badass than the old school 300SL Gullwing. They're each considered eye candy and have wow factors. They just appeal to different people on their own.

Very well said! I couldn’t agree more.

I love that the label, IMO, looks like it could be a real city casino label. Very classy, and simple. Kinda like James Bond himself! The $5 chip Is a real ruby too! All around great THC set!

The $5’s color is insane. I look at it from one angle under a certain light, it’s pink. I look at it from another, it’s a radiant ruby. Nuts.

Cash set on the left, 998 chips so far. Fracs are murdered/relabeled CDM 1s. Higher denoms all have shaped inlays. 3 short of a barrel of shaped-inlay $5s. Looking for 1 more barrel of shaped-inlay $100s to complete.

Tournament set on the right, 2161 chips so far. Enough to do 4 tables T10K with 12/12/5/6 starting stacks, or almost 6 tables with 8/8/6/6. T5K are murdered/relabeled CDM 200s, and T25K are murdered/relabeled CDM 5s. Will need to do another group shot when CDI cut cards are done.

I think the actual total for your cash side is perfect given the number “998” haha Pretty awesome that it sits at that number specifically. CDM 5’s really fit the bill nicely for 25K’s. Never thought of that one as an option. Not sure how long it all took to put together but well worth the effort. Nicely done!!!

Side note while we’re on the number 998, this is my 999th post since I’ve joined. My 1000th is coming up soon with a little bit of a kick! Keep your eyes peeled.

Ok, please keep me in mind. I have a small 300 piece set but just need a barrel of the $500’s or whatever you can spare to complete a T5 base tourney set.
 
Love these chips. I picked mine up about 4 or 5 years ago but with a relabel. They worked really well as quarters but I have some of Navel's Santa Ysables coming so my CDI's are on the block. Absolutely beautiful chips.

I’m pretty sure he hasn’t sold any since. I’ll check for you.
