I can send you the whole blind structure I used later when I'm home from work. I ran it two months ago. T100,000 starting stack freeze out. Blinds started at 100/200, 500 BB's to start. 20 minute levels the first two hours and 15 minute levels thereafter. Took about 5 hours to finish a 6 handed freeze out. First out lasted just over three hours, and the rest dropped like flies after the 4 hour mark.

FYI, this is the blind structure I used for the T100,000 freezeout as @sgago84 was inquiring about. Only 100/500/1000/5000/25000 denoms in play. 10/6/11/7/2 starting stacks. First two hours had 20 minute levels between breaks and the remainder were 15 minute levels.

I think next time I will try a flat level system of 15 minutes per level. This would have sped things up and made it a little bit less of a marathon. This would have reduced the level play by 30 minutes in the first two hours and would have squeezed the shorter stacks all in a bit sooner than after the third complete hour of play as which happened when this was played out 6 handed. I planned on a post tournament cash game but the other players were all mentally drained or tired by the time the tournament was over.

I was thinking of doing a similar blind structure but with T50k or T60k like the WSOP main event. I was worried the game would take too long so thought about adding BB ante only. But I guess the game won’t last long at all from what you’re saying.
Very easily so.
Take out the 25K's and use the same starting stack breakdown I used for a T50K. Could also add 5 T100's and subtract a T500 and do 15/5/11/7.
For 60K add two T5000's for 15/5/11/9.
Start your levels at 100/200 and you'll have a game that's done in under 4 hours excluding break times.

They use an interesting starting stack at the main event. Seems like they are trying to use the least amount of chips
I can feel @BGinGA cringing in Georgia all the way from New Jersey seeing this
It's semi-reasonable if antes aren't used, but idiotic if trying to run an event with a BBA.
I'm pretty sure the Main Event does utilize antes IIRC...
