Wow! Nice collection!

These TM roulette chips are so cool! I have often see them on eBay and I always wondered why they had a such huge selection of inlays.

Otherwise, they always make me think of another set whose inlays taking up the clear color of the chips and also have geometric shapes. It is especially the attached chips that reminds me of it.

I've always heard that the Taj ran a crazy amount of roulette tables. Since each table has its own design, they had to make a ton of them! Here is some extra reading on design names and designs that didnt get chosen, courtesy of Jerry Birl

Saved!

Thank you very much for this information and thus for participating in my chipping cultural enrichment!

So the chips I was referring to were probably roulette chips, or it’s only the theme of their inlays wich took up these symbols. But I remember that the chips had these specific symbols.

I am not a gambler at all. I just like poker. I only made one bet ever at a table game. It was like 3am+ on Friday night 20 years ago and I was leaving the poker room after being up. I saw that the Roulette table minimum was $20 so I thought what the hell. I thought you had to put $20 on each betting position so I just put the $20 on my birthday. No one else at the table. She spins and i hit. The dealer and my buddy just laugh. I cash out immediately despite my buddy urging us to play on and I forget to tip the dealer. So I am forever worried I have a lifetime of bad luck ahead of me if I ever got into table games.

Haha, you are a winning roulette player!

The one time I put a coin in a slot machine, it gave me back $600 and it almost caused a riot. I hadn’t see that there was an additional bonus requiring you to press some buttons. The regular of the place were crazy and furious! After that, I never put back a coin into a machine and I look at them in a special way.
It’s kind of the same thing. ;)

The whole da** thing!!!!!!
Congratulations. I’ve thought many times of making this a personal project but figured there were others here with more fire in their bellies for the task.
I got to spend many a sessions playing at Taj, the card room was the best action in town and you couldn’t beat their Midnight Madness tournaments.

Same. I was able to build a rack a couple years ago of $1's.

I was there in June. Kinda sad. The poker room is now a theatre.

Yep! No more exciting tingles as you ride down the escalator. I picked up a free air fryer in what used to be the poker room last time I stayed at HR. :ROFLMAO:
Sad indeed but O the memories from that place.
