Here's the deal - there's a wrecking yard there that has a front fender. They don't ship. The fender is not that big (for a Honda Element). Curious if someone close to there would be up for picking it up, tossing some cardboard around it and shipping it. Of course I'll make it worth the effort, and also put them first in line (meaning - first in line and FREE) on my next dealer button design (could be new, could be a revamped - could be acrylic or ceramic).
Yes, I could find a fender fairly local. Yes, I could and have it painted. I'd rather have the factory painted fender.
