Hey all,

I have a set of Apache chips (mixed Majestics, Royals, and Banks), and I love the look and feel of the labels, but I want to relabel them with my own design. Based on my research, the material is a vinyl with matte finish polycarbonate lamination. Are there any vendors that are reasonably priced and could create labels that use this material?

I got samples from Gear Labels and Sticker Mule, but none of the samples were a match.

I got a good result (for my purposes) with StickerApp. I found that I liked their prints better than Sticker Mule, and both the samples and full print runs were cheap enough to get if you're going down this road.

I didn't say anything previously since you said Gear wasn't a match. But, they're who I got mine through. Didn't notice a difference.

Tell us more about the quality or why they did not match, have photos?

The difference is subtle, but definitely noticeable in person. Here's the OEM sticker vs. Gear's sample (phone camera isn't great):

The OEM has a noticeably coarser texture, much more of a silvery sheen, and is considerably thicker and inflexible. Being thicker and inflexible doesn't matter much when applied, but the other attributes make the OEM a much higher quality material - especially the coarse texture. I'm looking for a vendor that can replicate it.

Again, phone camera doesn't do it justice, but it's far from an exact match.

Thanks so much for sharing!

Please let us know if you do find that vendor that can replicate it better.
Happy to contribute. Actually I've been periodically talking with BR Pro Poker, since people have recommended them in the past. They discontinued their sticker products, but they said they're revamping them with new processes and materials. They sent me some samples to compare against, and they had some issues (including apparently they didn't use the correct high resolution art work in the samples), but the texture and silvery sheen seemed much closer to the OEM (although still not a 100% match).

It's been several months since our communication though and they still haven't added anything to their website. I reached back out to them to check if there was any update. I'll update here when/if they respond.

Chris and Andrea @Gear labels have done tons of mine and had 0 issues. No one can really tell unless you tell them you relabeled. Plus, they shouldn’t worry about the labels but their chip count lol

Actually just ordered new 25k labels getting rdy to replace!

Best of luck!
