These chips are surprisingly nice given the cost. I have paulsons, cards mold ceramics and even nexgen lucky bees....these Prestige chips hold up, stack well and look pretty good. They are not top end chips but get the job done very well. The labels may fall off if you clean them but at $4/roll (CAD) they can't be beat really.
I have tried the crazy horse and ceramics chips on the site and sold them, liking real casino chips better. The Prestige don't pretend to be what there not and I respect and like them for it
- Great for a travel set
- Great for board games and or child use
- Great gift, hand-me down chips
- not suggesting you do but the labels could be changed
Con:
- if you are local these chips are easy to buy and bring into your game.
- the 1 & 10 denominations use the same plastic base in reverse so the chips will dirty stack if played together.
I have bought stuff from both Apache and Straitpokersupplies and both are good reliable retailers. Being in Canada I'd suggest buying on this side of the border to save on shipping costs. Atbleast till you are buying something more high end as shipping weight is the same either way.
