According to a discussion with my wife and daughter the other day, and I have no idea how the hell we got on this topic, they contend a hot dog is the wiener and bun. If it wasn’t all inclusive we would call them weiner sandwiches. Not sure this helps decide anything but it does prove my wife and daughter are crazy.
