@TX_Golf_N_Poker I asked to be in the wait list (post 73 page 3), but I'm not in your chart. Can I still get in?

Edit, if so, then:

$0.05 x 0
$0.25 x 150
$1.00 x 200
$5.00 x 150
$20.00 x 75
$100.00 x 25
Total Cash x 600

Sample set: 5

Hey all, I just realized what day it is... I'm not sure if Tina works or checks her messages on the weekend, so we may have a slight delay. If I haven't heard back from her in the morning, I will proceed with sending collection PMs but I may not send to the last 5-10 people until after she confirms that she will accept our order size. Shouldn't be a problem as I can't send a wire transfer on the weekend here anyway, so still targeting having most/all monies collected by end of Sunday if possible.

@TX_Golf_N_Poker Apologies if this was previously discussed but, why did you initially limit the size of the order to 20k/20 participants? No price breaks beyond a certain point? Too many moving parts?

I ask because a GB for a single set of chips is exactly what this vendor seems made for - all the separate orders with 20 different designs were ridiculously ponderous with lots and lots of errors and work to correct. If they just have to produce 12 chips total, just en masse, why not open it up for to as many people as possible so you can possibly get a better economy of scale?

Very cool chips. I’m not partaking but it’s a cool design/colors.

I'd presume because the state-side logistics, reshipping, funds collection, etc. are all complicated and get more complicated with higher quantity.

Exactly. I took the recommendation of others who have previously run these cards mold GBs (Sean, Paul, Evan) to limit the size to around 20-25K. There are no economies of scale beyond that point. Others have already stepped up to say that they will take over a round #2, and possibly even a round #3 if need be.

Given what we have seen the past 3 days, this probably could have exceeded the 70K+ that Sean did in GB#1. I wasn't prepared to take on that big of a load. The group of us that have been involved in cards mold from the beginning have all discussed that we need to keep the buys smaller and spread the load among a larger number of people.

Yeah, without a price break there is no point. The single design is the way to go, though, and should make this effort substantially easier than the others.

Cool design.

I received a few requests for SMALL tweaks to the orders. Here is the updated schedule. I included the cost column on this one. PMs are coming with payment instructions. I will get them all sent out by tonight, but it may take me a while as I'm also trying to enjoy a few weekend activities. LOL. Goal is to have most payments by tomorrow, and all payments by end of day Monday.

If you asked me to tweak your order and I missed it, send me another PM. I'm ok with small increases of 100-300 more chips. Something you may want to keep in mind with your order size is the number and size of boxes needed to ship your order. Check the following table as it is possible that a very small increase could result in a large shipping increase if you get bumped into needing an additional box. Don't forget to add to your total number of chips if you ordered sample sets. The numbers in the green column do not include samples.

150-600 chips MFRB
601-900 LFRB
901-1200 MFRB+MFRB
1201-1500 MFRB+LFRB
1501-1800 LFRB+LFRB
1801-2400 LFRB+LFRB+MFRB

All PMs for payment have been sent. I just realized I forgot an important detail. Please put ONLY your PCF Username in the comments. Do not put PCF or any other information., Just your username. Thanks!

Monday update:

Payments have come in nicely and at this moment, only 4 people are left to submit payment. Not going to call anyone out just yet... :D

Additionally, I took an order today for the 25th tournament sample set, so those are closed. I do still have a couple of available cash samples, but I'm assuming everyone who wants these has spoken up by now. I'm also assuming everyone is happy with their totals, so I will submit our final numbers to Tina tonight. We did have one person drop out, so our order total for this very quick group buy now comes in at:

32,450! chipperoos

Great job PCF.

Good luck with your orders everyone. The cards mold chips are fantastic and these are an excellent design. You should be pleased with the product you receive. I was very happy with my Cards Mold set, hopefully you are too

And just like that, we have a fully paid for group buy. I will keep the ball rolling from here, and I will keep you updated as I stay on top of Tina to produce these chippies as fast as possible. Hopefully the next big milestone will be some proof photos of the first few chips. If those look good we'll be full steam ahead!

Nice GB so far. Your only hiccup is the prototypes, if the 5c and $5 chips are too close in color (maybe the $20 too).
We'll see what the proofs look like. I don't think there will be an issue. They work OK in the casino.

Any chance this moves faster then the other GBs because it’s just one design instead of 20+?
still expecting 9-12 months but a guy can dream right?

I’m expecting it’ll take awhile for the chips, but is the wait really around 9-12 months? I was thinking it’d be something like 3-6 months or so. Do we have a rough idea? I’m still ok if it is 9-12 but would be good to know so I can reset myself for it :)

The last one we did was 8 months.
small buy 10+ designs.
9-12 might be over but if you say 6-9 then some people get upset if it goes 7 months lol.

Thanks, totally cool and makes a lot of sense. I’ll use your 9-12 months for myself as well. Can’t go wrong this way.

Wow. Missed this completely. If there's another group buy please let me know. I'm good for 1000 cash and 1000 tournament chips. Thanks

I wouldn’t be surprised if the manufacturer is very fast and the longest delay is getting them shipped over here. Shipping has been an issue for over a year and we haven’t even gotten to the holiday season.

that being said, if they aren’t on a boat by february1 expect them not to move until at least March.

In for 1200-1500 tournament if done again. I saw the photos on FB and they look amazing.

Dang it!! How did I miss this?!
I’m in for the next one!

In for AT LEAST 1000 chips...
