Yowdy! I'll hopefully get some nicer pictures later when I'm not working

Got 'em! Thanks again @dmoney and @Pinesol13!

One thing - my 100s came as tournament chips instead of cash - if somebody got cash 100s and was expecting tourney, let me know and we can do a swap!

Uh-oh! I think the only other person who ordered Aria $100 39mm was @PokerDogDoc

I don't recall if they were cash or tourney. We did have one error in the shipment, where they sent an extra stack of $25 Cash, and we were short a stack of $25 Tournament

No worries, if they don't turn up, I'll just have to start an Arias tournament set!

I lied. I didn't take them out of the shrink wrap, I'll do a full Scrooge McDuck later (not lying this time),
here's some pics to tide me over:

PokerChips.jpg

little higher quality than my previous pics
texture feels a little different than my sample stack I got as well. A little grittier. That could also be because I shuffle my sample stack for 12+ hours a day, as I'm WFH

You guys are getting this all wrong. @Pinesol13 did WAY TOO GOOD of a job on this GB. He set the standard so high that no one else is ever going to want to run a GB themselves. There will be too much pressure.

So congratulations @Pinesol13 !!! From this point forward, you are the designated shipper for ALL FUTURE GBs...

Too much!  to be fair, @dmoney did most of the heavy lifting. Countless communications with Tina, dealing with all the money, organizing spreadsheets with everyone's orders (which was super helpful to me). I'm happy to be the reshipper, but I will never be the guy who actually manages an order, that's way too much for me.

Funny side note: when I dropped off the boxes at the post office, the worker asked me if the boxes contained any liquids, because of the "Pinesol Advertisement " on the box!

Came out pretty damn good!

I haven't even unwrapped mine yet. I think there may be one or two very minor tweaks I would make, but I agree, the 5k is my absolute favorite. I thought it would be the Goldfinger chip.

2nd place for me is the 100, I just love the non-traditional lavender color.

I'm going to say it - I'm not smart enough to know what these represent, but it looks like there must be a good story behind them. Care to tell us about them? I love the stories behind custom designs. Or point me to another thread if you've already explained them.

All the credit goes to @Pinesol13 - he came up with the idea of a James Bond Villians theme & then came up with the design, too. The guy was even nice enough to let me use his design. Definitely a class act!

LOVE how these came out! A great tribute to my favorite poker chips. I will be selling some sample sets soon and wanted to give anyone in here first dibs before I made a public post.
Thanks to @Pinesol13 and @dmoney for all of the hard work and dedication to make this happen!
This was a great experience for my first ever group buy. Thank you everyone for the laughs, anticipation, and excitement!

Short story is I love James Bond, and these are inspired by all the Bond villains dummy corporation's that are a front for their evil doings.

Long story is, growing up I have special memories of watching the Connery and Moore 007 movies on TV, with my Dad and Grandfather. Also, I always felt like my two grandfather's represented the James Bond world. My fathers dad, to me, was Ian Fleming (the author of 007 novels). Super cool, lived life to the fullest, life of the party. Always had a story, and a cocktail and unfiltered cigarette in hand. My mothers dad, to me, was James Bond. A man's man. Served in World War II, a hero. There's a great story about him here:

Anyways, last year my brother got me this 007 gift set, part of it included these Coasters with the villain corporation logos on them

One day I was looking at these, and my brain clicked and I saw them for what they truly were.....poker chip inlays.

That began the design process, and here we are today!

On another note, I'm treating myself to a nice Manhattan tonight!
