Not Mine ASAP.. what you think of this table? (1 Viewer)

I agree, if its pressed particle board i'll not bother.

I'm ok with MDF, heavy but solid.

Yes the rail recover would be a lot of work, but pneumatic staplers are GREAT.

MDF is definitely better then particle board but I would still recommend avoid it. It still swells if it gets wet. It doesn't take well to having screws put into it and having pressure on them like folding legs will do. After awhile you'll be drilling new holes and moving the legs a bit because the ever so slight rocking that the table will do when people are against it will wreck the holes and strip the screws out.

Damnit , seller said he'll be home around 4.

A) look at table @ 4 . and sit in traffic for 3 hrs heading North.

B) forget table and be home by 3

C. Donk off some chips by 8

I feel like this is going to happen anyway....o_O

My test for the padding of the table (under the felt, not rail): Knock with your fist. If you hear/feel wood = no good. If all you hear is the thud of the padding = good. Looks like a decent table to me. I paid $650 to have one made. $200 could be a steal.

That's been on craigslist for a while. I've thought about making an offer a few times. Tough to say without getting an upclose look, but it looks like it's worth it. I'd try to get it for $150.

Been there on Craigslist for months
