I am working to build a cash set separate from the Paulsons I use for my two-table tournament, and am focused on H-molds in solid colors, either plain or with a hotstamped monogram.

I don’t need them to have denominations, and would actually kind of prefer that they don’t have any.

I’m looking for two denominations in largish quantities (200+) to use as $1/$5 chips.

The base for this set is 100 dark greens found on eBay, with the monogram LVK or LUK (?), which happens to parallel the LK monogram on my Paulsons... Might have been the same original owner? Anyway, those will be the $25 chips.

Lastly, I’d like a smaller quantity of another color or two (20-50) for higher-denominations.

Thanks for any suggestions or leads in advance... I guess I could buy some new from the factory in Maine, but I’d kind of rather find some decent vintage chips.

I found another 50 of the white (cream) ASMs with a monogram... Could still use a few more whites—not the bright white. Have enough red, green, black and orange for a one-table cash game. Or, could use some other color (e.g. blue/light blue) for a $2 chip.

You can always Mill them and add yr Labels.

BTW, you said but some from the factory in Maine... What's this factory you speak of?

@Gear does milling I've heard, and of course labels too.

Thanks for that. I recently had a major misadventure with the shipping of some chips to a person in Canada— neither side knew enough about Canadian customs rules, so it ended up being neither a fun nor profitable transaction for either of us.

That’s not to say I wouldn’t use @Gear’s service for that reason alone; but I’d want to be better educated next time before sending any package northward... (Any similar firms in the U.S.?)

I don't know of any. Gear is pretty widely used here on the forum, and I'm sure deals with shipments of chips and labels across the border regularly. I'm sure he can offer some advice on shipping to make the process go more smoothly, if you choose to go with his services. (I've personally never worked with Gear on such a project, but I've seen plenty around here who have.)
