70 Casino Magic 1K chips (43mm)!

As a result of hurricane Katrina there are only around 100 of these available. Therefore, the chips offered in this auction are estimated to be around 70% of the total population of these chips in the world. Whoever wins this auction will be the majority share holder of these chips.

Not sure what these are worth but I paid over $20 a chip for these.

RULES

1. STARTING BID: $1400
2. Bids must be placed in minimum increments of $5.00
3. The Starting Bid of the auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
5. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at 9pm EST, on April 1, 2018 will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be 5 min. after the latest bid was posted.
6. Edited posts will be voided.
7. I reserve the right to: i) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; ii) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
8. PCF (it's Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.
9. Shipping Terms: free shipping to CONUS.
10. Payment Terms: PayPal F&F

Considering the history of these chips and the fact that they survived one of the worst natural disasters in the history of the United States, it would be cruel and unusual punishment to separate this exclusive family of chips. As long as they are in my possession, I will make sure they are together .

I picked up 2 from @Gear which haven't arrived yet. This lot has been together through it all. Good investigation work though. You are now considered over qualified to work at CNN.

Not a great story. I bought them from a collector who was selling off most of his collection. He was going to list them on eBay, but I decided to take them before he listed them.

I love in Pensacola FL and played cards at this casino many times before the hurricane .... actually lost my job to layoffs two weeks before landfall and me and a buddy decided at the last min to make a biloxi run the day before the casinos closed for the storm. We visited here, the grand, and the Beau Rivage that day. Lost our asses off.

I say all that to say I would love to pick up a few of these if they are ever split. Thank You
