4 of a Kind
UPDATE 2: So it looks like we're going to fall a bit short in terms of ticket sales to go forward with the auction. As of right now, pending payment, the chips have been sold to a member who made an offer on the set. Should that fall through, we can revisit the raffle.
However, I don't want everyone who showed interest in a raffle to be left empty handed. So assuming the chip sale goes through, I will run a consolation prize raffle for all those who posted prior to this post. No entry fee of any kind is required, this will be completely free raffle. Details/prize to be specified in a little while, stay tuned.
UPDATE: I have reduced the total number of tickets to be sold to 54, and 6 free roll tickets, so there will be 60 total tickets in the raffle (instead of 66). If I can get the 54 tickets reserved by tomorrow, I will announce the time and date** of the free roll tournament and start collecting payments. If not, I will give the person who made me an offer to purchase the set an opportunity to buy it if he's still interested.
**I will do my best to find a time/date that works as well as possible for the most people possible, but please recognize that it will be impossible to accommodate everyone's preference.
Here is the proposed free roll tournament payout. Any tickets not given away during the free roll will be available for sale after the tournament ends.
2-7 players, first place gets 1 ticket
8-11 players, first place gets 2 tickets
12-15 players, first place gets 2 tickets, second place gets 1 ticket
16-19 players, first place gets 3 tickets, second place gets 1 ticket
20+ players, first place gets 3 tickets, second place gets 2 tickets, third place gets 1 ticket
Up for raffle is a set of like new Aztar Casino Tournament Solids Hotstamps for a single table tournament. This is a somewhat rare set that you probably won't see available too often. To be honest, I'm not sure who else owns one. While not as flashy as their big brother (the striped tournament hotstamps), this one is very classic and the colors are absolutely awesome in person.
I was on the fence between selling this outright or holding an auction. However, many people have expressed interest in a raffle, so I figured I would give it a shot (pending enough interest). Raffle tickets will be $20/each, and limited to no more than 60 total tickets sold. Shipping (with insurance) within the US in included in the raffle. Members outside the US are welcome to participate as well, and will just have to pay the difference between the US shipping cost and the international shipping cost.
There will up to 6 additional tickets given away in a freeroll pokerstars tournament at a date to be determined. Anyone who is a member of the forum as of the posting of this thread is invited to participate in the tournament to try and win the free raffle tickets.
As of right now, I just wanted to create this thread so people could reserve tickets (via posting). Please do not send any payments at this time. If there is enough interest to proceed, I will send out payment information and more details about the drawing itself (it will be like other raffles conducted here, and based on a pick 3/4 state lottery). If there isn't enough interest to proceed, I will cancel the raffle and sell these either in a regular sale or as an auction.
Breakdown of the set is 180/120/70/30 (T5/T25/T100/T500). There also about 20 extra spare chips, mostly T5 and T25. 421 chips total.
Please feel free to PM me with any questions. Thanks!
